Recognizing its transformative potential, a significant majority of businesses – 70% according to a Harvard Business Review Analytic Services Report – view AI implementation as crucial for their operations. This widespread recognition underscores the need for organizations to understand the key benefits of AI integration, while also addressing the concerns and barriers that hinder its widespread adoption.
1. How important do you find implementing AI within e-commerce operations?
According to Harvard Business Review Analytic Services Report, 70% of Survey Respondents believe implementing AI within e-commerce operations is very or extremely important.
Another Harvard Business Review Analytic Services survey of 225 members of the Harvard Business Review audience, who are involved in decision-making about how the IT department provides service for their organization, found that while 62% agree their organization understands the importance of using AI to be more competitive in the market.
2. Is your organization’s IT department currently actively using AI to improve its processes and services?
According to IBM Global Adoption Index about 42% of enterprise-scale companies surveyed (> 1,000 employees) report having actively deployed AI in their business.
Companies within the financial services industry are most likely to be using AI, with about half of IT professionals within that industry reporting their company has actively deployed AI.
